PauPau @ Village Food Recipe, Pulau Tikus

Village Food Recipe is located at Moulmein Road, Pulau Tikus. This is a family-style restaurant which served for Chinese cuisine.

First Visit:
Chrysanthemum Tea
The chrysanthemum drinks are quite tasteless and according to the shop owner it is from the ready packet.

Corn Soup

Chicken with Salted Egg (Small - RM12)
The deep fried chicken are stir fry with salted egg and have its unique taste, but I feel bits oily for me. The food portion sized are quite small. (Rate: 3.5/5)

Stir Fry Kailan (Small - RM8)
This dish is stir fry Kailan with salted fish and I like dishes with salted fish as it is very appetizing. (Rate: 3.5/5)

Second Visit:
Tofu Soup

Claypot Chicken with Salted Fish
The Claypot Chicken with Salted Fish are very delicious. The aroma of the salted fish and the spiciness of the dry chilies make the chicken even tastier. (Rate: 4/5)

Sambal Ladyfinger
Sambal Ladyfinger are one of their signature dishes. Although it is seem to be a very simple steam dish, but the spicy sambal and shrimp nibs are too tasty and turn the simple dish into a great dish. (Rate: 4/5)
