This place has strong rain-forest designed and thus we feel very closed to the nature. It is really calming. Besides, dine in at the small hut with starry lighting does create a very romantic atmosphere. 

I love this table setting the most! We can enjoyed our dinner with soft music while look at the seashell and candles that placed inside the tables. This is so romantic!

ChaYuKaFei Restaurant is located adjacent the Gama Supermarket at Trang Road. ChaYuKaFei Restaurant are quite unique as they are blending the tea fragrance into their dishes. Besides their signature tea dishes, fish pot steamboat are also another good recommendation to try out there. They have provided cozy environment inside the restaurant and nice atmosphere open-air garden dining area.

Well I have asked for their menu to take a  look, but according to the waiter, they don't have a ready menu yet. This is the first I'm dined in a restaurant without menu. So wondering how could a restaurant operating without a menu with price list. 

Groundnut (RM2.50 +5% Service Charge)

The groundnut are direct served on our table and this are not complimentary for us. So, you may return it if you don't wish to get billed for the groundnut, otherwise you may enjoy the groundnut as appetizer.

Fish Pot Personal Steamboat Set (RM9.30 Nett each via online coupon)

The two personal steamboat set below consists of 4 scallop, 4 small fresh fish sliced, 6 fried fish bone, 4 abalone sliced, 4 handmade fish cake, 1 block tofu, 2 yam, 2 mushroom, 4 small fish maw, 4 glass noodle and Cintan mee. 

They are serving two Fish Pot Personal Steamboat Set into one sharing plate for us. But, I prefer if they are served it in two separate personal set plate for us, just like Gues Xiang Restaurant, Yosenabe or BarBQ Plaza. Anyway, I feel that this fish pot steamboat are slightly pricey if based on their original price RM19.80 per person, so that mean the small portion steamboat set below cost for RM39.80.

You can either choose for the superior broth (braised for four hours using fish heads, wolfberries, tomatoes and cabbage) or Thai Style (Spicy and Sour Soup) for the soup base. Obviously, I have choose Thai Style for the soup base. The Thai Style soup are not bad, as it is spicy and sour enough.

PauPau Steam Pork Patty

Today I am going to share with you another simple and easy steamed dish. Hope that you will enjoy "Steam Pork Patty" as I do!

Ingredients:

Cabbage (finely chopped)

Carrot (finely chopped)

Shitake mushroom (finely chopped)

9 sliced shitake mushroom (as deco)

Minced Pork 

1 small egg

2 tablespoon soy sauce (as per taste)

2 tablespoon sesame oil

Directions:

Mix well minced pork, cabbage, carrot and mushroom with soy sauce and sesame oil.

Beaten the egg and pour into the center of the meat mixture. Stir the egg and meat mixture clockwise until mixed well.

Spoon the meat mixture into the plate and flatten the base with your spoon. 

Arrange the sliced Shitake mushroom on top of the meat mixture.

Steam for about 20mins or until the meat is cooked.

Served hot with rice.

First, having mushroom soup as starter. The mushroom soup is creamy enough, but the taste is quite mild and lack of mushroom. Overall the mushroom soup are 3/5.

Colorful salad with raisins prepared by myself. 

The beef rendang are not bad and the beef are so tender. Just I feel that the curry are not thick enough. Overall the beef rendang are 3.5/5.

The sweet and sour fish and the grilled sausage are taste normal (2.5/5). The Seafood with butter & creamy sauce is very delicious, and the prawn, squid and fish are fresh too (4/5). Bean Curd with prawn and the Cauliflower are taste normal (2.5/5).

The Grilled Chicken with White Sauce are taste good. The grilled chicken are tender and goes very well with the creamy sauce (4/5). The Seafood Lagsana is consists of prawn, fish and squid with tomato sauce. Assorted Vegetables is consists of broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, baby corn, green pea and mushroom with oyster sauce (3/5).

Fried Cempedak are my favorite fruits too. But, too bad I am too bloated and thus only managed to have two fried cempedak.

They are serving dragonfruits snowy ice and plum snowy ice. The dragonfruits snowy ice are not bad. It is no coloring, no preservative and 100% fruits.
