PauPau Strawberry Sherbet

It is so simple to make strawberry sherbet, so today I am going to share with you "PauPau Strawberry Sherbet". Hope you will enjoy it!

Ingredients:
500g strawberry
50g dried cranberry
250gm strawberry yogurt (or natural yogurt)
4 tablespoon Roselle or cranberry liquid (or white sugar syrup, to taste)

Directions:

Put the cut strawberries into bowl of food processor. Add some water (optional) and blend it well. 

Pour the strawberry puree into a big bowl.

Add in strawberry yogurt, dried cranberry and Roselle Syrup.

Stir it well (clock-wise) until the mixture is blend.

Pour the mixture into small cup and freeze it.

Chu Yoke Weng Restaurant is located at Sungai Dua, just opposite the Tesco Extra. This restaurant are popular for their roasted duck (Pi Pa Duck), beside this they are also serving for barbecue pork (Char Siew), ordinary roasted duck and roasted pork (Siew Bak).

The interior are simple decorated and the environment are quite cozy.

Fish Balls Soup - Small (RM3 Nett)

Although the seaweed soup taste like ordinary soup, but their homemade fish balls are very springy and tasty.

PauPau @ Korea Palace, Crystal Point

Korea Palace, currently they have two outlets, which is located at Tanjung Tokong and Crystal Point. Tonight we are going to try out the Korea Palace at Crystal Point. Actually we are more into Japanese cuisine than Korean cuisine previously, but after the first Korea cuisine attempt at Bee Won Korean Restaurant, it has changed our mind for Korean cuisine.

Each table are comes with the BBQ pits (get filled with the hot charcoal). 

The environment there are spacious with charming ambiance. They even have exhaust funnel installed on top of each table, and it is really helps to suck up the smokes from the BBQ pits.

The appetizer, pumpkin and bean soup is a thick and sweet pumpkin puree served with beans. 

Side Dishes (Complimentary)

Korean Pancakes (RM 10 + 10% Charges)

The Korean Pancakes is consists of crabmeat, squid and spring onion.


The helpful staff helps to cut the Korean Pancakes into smaller pieces. The pancakes are quite delicious to dip with their chili sauce, although the sauce are not spicy enough to me.

BBQ Pork Ribs (RM35 + 10% Charges per set)

We have ordered two set of BBQ Pork Ribs and the pork ribs are well-marinated. The friendly staff had grilled the pork ribs perfectly as the pork ribs cooked are very juicy and tenderness.

The best way of enjoying the meat is by wrapping the pork slice with the lettuce.   

The BBQ pork ribs are very flavorful and it will become crispy if you continuous grill it.

A very nicely tree cut watermelon are served after our meal.

The chilled dessert drink taste like ginger juice with syrup, it is likely similar to Chinese Tang Yuan soup.

Nyonya Breeze Desire, this new branch is located at Straits Quay, Tanjung Tokong. Nyonya Breeze Desire are serving for authentic Penang Nyonya Cuisine. Do you know that the preparation and the cooking of Nyonya cuisine could be very time consuming? As the grinding, blending and marinating the ingredient took several hours. Most of the Nyonya cuisine will added some crucial spices like lemongrass, lengkuas (wild ginger), kunyit (turmeric root), kaffir lime leaves, pandan leaves, shallots, bay leaves, basil leaves and ginger buds.

Ju Hu Char is another typical Nyonya vegetables dish where the cuttlefish strips stir fried with minced meat, turnip, carrot, cabbage, onion and mushroom slices. This is my favorite dish and it is quite delicious, just it is slightly sweet to me.

Kari Kapitan is a thick savory of curry chicken with kaffir lime leaves, coconut milk and limes juice. This is a very flavorful and rich in aroma.

Dried cranberry

Mint leaves (for garnish)

Lemon skin (for garnish)

Place some dried cranberry.

Garnish with lemon skin and mint leaves.

The every edges of the pizza are very crispy but the base are slightly hard. Overall the Capricciosa are quite nice and it is such a enjoyable moment by the beach.
