PauPau Beef Soup

Today I am going to share with you how to cook Beef Soup and hope that you will enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients: (to marinate)
500g lean beef (Cut into small cube)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper powder
Light soy sauce (to taste)

1 tablespoon olive oil
Carrot (sliced)
Celery (sliced)
Yellow onion (sliced)
1 bay leaves
1 beef stock
1/2 cup red wine
(You may also add on sliced mushroom and potato)

Marinate the beef cube for at least 30minutes. (However, I will always marinated the meat at least a day before) Heat the olive oil in the saucepan and stir fry the marinated beef cube for about 5 minutes.
Add the beef cube and bay leaves into the beef stock and simmer for about 3~4 hours.
Add in carrot into the beef soup and simmer until the carrot is half cooked.
Then, add in celery and yellow onion into the soup and continue to simmer until the vegetables are tender.

The beef soup is ready after simmer for about 4~5 hours.

You may served the clear beef soup with fusilli or any type of pasta.

Once the beef soup is cooked, turn off the heat. Add in red wine into the beef soup and stir it well.
