PauPau @ Sawara Restaurant, Burmah Road

Sawara Restaurant is located at the corner shophouse along Burmah Road, exactly the same row as Maybank. They are specialty in claypot fish head, steamboat and Yong Tao Fu with their homemade fish paste. Recently, they have newly opened another branch at Crystal Point too.

Besides claypot fish head, steamboat and Yong Tao Fu, they do have wide range of food such as ramen, noodle, rice and so on.

We have ordered a Claypot Fish Head and two plates of Shanghai noodle. Their sourish and spicy chilli sauce is quite appetizing.

Claypot Fish Head Soup - Small (RM 45 + 5% Charges)
The Claypot Fish Head Soup is cooked with fish head, homemade fish paste, tofu, chinese cabbage, cabbage, spring onion, and lots of garlic in a large clay pot. The soup is very flavorful with the sweetness of the fish head and the soup is getting richer if continuous boiling it with the rest of the ingredients. Their homemade fish paste is quite springy and with hint of parsley taste.
(Rate: 4.5/5)

Shanghai Noodle (RM 2 + 5% Charges)
The Shanghai Noodle is goes well with the fish head soup too.

Credit card payment is allowed for RM 50 and above.
