PauPau @ El Casa Wine & Dine Restaurant, Irrawady Road

El Casa Wine & Dine Restaurant is located at Irrawady Road, Georgetown. They are serving for wide range of cuisine from Asian Fusion, Italian, French, Greek to Mediterranean. The indoor dining place are spacious and the environment are quite comfy.

Festive Traditional Salad (Loh Yee Sang)
Loh Yee Sang, also known as Prosperity Toss and most Chinese like to have Loh Yee Sang especially during the 7th day of Chinese New Year due to its symbolism of good luck of the new year.


Soup of the Day - Mushroom Soup 
The mushroom soup are semi-thick and creamy, the toast garlic bread are nice as it is quite fragrant and very crispy.

Combo Set Meal
The Combo Set Meal is consists of Grilled Chicken, Garlic Prawn and Mussels served with rice and vegetables. The food presentation are nice and the food portion are quite big. The grilled chicken served are very big and crispy, but the chicken itself are slightly bland. The Garlic Prawn are quite fragrant and the baked mussel coated with melted cheese is the best.

Dessert
The Dessert is sliced of banana cake and garnished with mandarin orange, grape and whipped cream. Well, the dessert for this set are quite dull.

The Cajun Blacken Chicken is a blend of American cuisine served with vegetables and roasted potato. The grilled chicken are tender and the skin are quite crispy. The roast potato with onion are flavorful and delicious too.

PauPau @ Korea Palace, Tanjung Tokong

Korea Palace is located at Tanjung Tokong and served for wide range of authentic Korean cuisine. This restaurant provides a spacious dining place with charming ambiance.



A very strong Korean style dining place. 

Appetizer for the day is sweet pumpkin bean soup and there is free flow of rice tea for you too.

Eight different side dishes as extras for your meal and it is definitely refillable.


Kimchi Jigae (RM 18 + 10% Charges)
Kimchi Jigae,  is a Kimchi Stew with pork sliced, mushroom, white cabbage, rice cake, carrot and spring onion. The Kimchi Stew is very flavorful and spicy enough.

The Hot Spicy Fried Pork is stir fry pork sliced with onion, carrot, cabbage, spring onion and sprinkle with sesame seeds. The fried pork is taste a bit sweet and more to spicy. Overall, the fried pork are taste good and tender.

Grilled Fish Mackerel - Portion for One (RM 15 + 10% Charges)
The Grilled Fish Mackerel is no doubt just like other ordinary grilled fish, but what makes this grilled fish outstanding than other is their special spicy sauce. Sequence some lemon juice all over the grilled fish and dipped with the spicy sauce, it does make all things right.

PauPau Aloe Vera with Lemon Juice

Aloe vera, also well-known as "Medicinal Aloe", definitely had a great contribution for those diabetics patients as it helps to improved the blood glucose level in diabetics. Today I am going to share with you "PauPau Aloe Vera with Lemon Juice", hope you will like it!


Ingredients:
Aloe vera (Peeled)
8 red date
Lemon juice (as per taste)
Rock sugar (as per taste)
500ml water

Directions:
Add red date and water in a pot and then bring to boil for at least 5minutes.
Add aloe vera and continue to simmer at medium heat until the aloe vera is tender or at least 30minutes.
Add rock sugar into the pot and stir until dissolve.
Served hot and adding some lemon juice.

PauPau Chocolate Paste with Almond

Today I am going to share with you, the easiest method in making "PauPau Chocolate Paste with Almond".


Ingredients:
Half cup of dark cocoa powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
Honey (as per taste)
Hot water
50gm almond nibs

Directions:
Pour the dark cocoa powder in a cup. (or any container)
Add hot water gradually and stir until the cocoa powder has dissolved.
Add olive oil and continue stir well.
Add honey and almond nibs and mix well.
Cool it at normal temperature and then only fridge it.
Served with bread or pancake.

Currently Woolloomooloo Modern Australian Cuisine is closed and replaced by O' Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe.

Woolloomooloo Modern Australian Cuisine is located at Bayan Bay shop lot, just opposite of Queensbay Mall. The environment are cozy with charming ambiance.


Soup of the Day (RM 9 + 6% Charges)
Thw Soup of the day is creamy mushroom soup and it is cooked with sliced mushroom and small chunky potato with herbs. The mushroom soup are creamy and delicious.

Pan Fried Talapia Fish Fillet (RM 27 + 6% Charges)
The Pan Fried Talapia Fish Fillet is served with two thick sliced of fish with butter lemon sauce and mashed potato. The fish itself are fresh and even tastier when dipped with the butter lemon sauce.

Polenta Encrusted Fried Chicken (RM 24 + 6% Charges)
The Polenta Encrusted Fried Chicken is nicely presentable with mashed potato, crispy fried chicken and tomato relish. However, this dish is toward mild taste and I prefer strong and rich flavor.

Creme Brulee (RM 6.90 + 6% Charges)
The Creme Brulee are quite delicious, yet the presentation are less attractive as the crusted sugar are not evenly spread.

The Red Wine Glazed Pear is nicely presentable where the pear is sliced and spread over the red sauce and hint of cinnamon. The pear are very delicious and rich in wine.

PauPau Fried Oyster Omelette (Oh Chien)

There are quite variety choices of fried oyster omelette (Oh Chien) in Penang and the most common ones are the sticky base and the crispy base. Today I am going to cook the crispy base "PauPau Oyster Omelette", hope that you will enjoy this recipe too!


Ingredients: (Batter - Mix well)
2 tablespoon tapioca flour
50ml water
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Ingredients:
2 eggs
250gm oyster (cleaned and drained)
Cooking oil
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon pepper powder
Fresh parsley (chopped finely)


Directions:
Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Spread the batter into a thinly layer. Add in egg and stir well for about 30seconds. Add some parsley.
Continue fry the omelette until golden brown.
Flip over the fry the other side until crispy and set aside on a plate.
Heat cooking oil in the pan and add oyster.
Add fish sauce, soy sauce and pepper powder and stir well for about 30seconds.
Place the oyster on top of the omelette and garnish with some fresh parsley.
