PauPau Grilled Salmon with Mango Salsa



Ingredients:
Salmon fillet
1 onion (peeled and diced)
1 garlic (diced)
1 red pepper (unseeded and diced)
1 jalapeno (unseeded and diced)
1 teaspoon of cayenne powder
1 tablespoon parsley
Pinch of cumin powder
Pinch of salt
Olive oil

Ingredients for Mango Salsa:
1 ripe mango (peeled and diced)
1/2 lemon juice

Directions:
Brush both side of salmon with some salt.
Heat up the pan with olive oil. Grill the salmon for about 6 minutes each side or until golden brown. (depend on your desired, grill it shorter for a more juicy salmon or grill it longer for a more crispy salmon.)
Set aside the grill salmon.
Add olive oil and stir in the onion until tender. Follow by garlic, stir the garlic until golden brown.
Add in cayenne powder, parsley and cumin powder, stir well.
Turn off the heat. Add in red pepper and jalapeno, stir well.
Place the mixture into a bowl and add in mango cube and lemon juice.
Served the mango salsa with the grilled salmon.

PauPau @ Les Memoire Bistro, Georgetown

Les Memoires Bistro is a newly opened bistro at the heritage building (The Loke Thye Kee Building) and they are serving for French and Italian cuisine.



Overall the dining place is quite spacious with nice ambiance. The interior design is unique and elegance.

Pan Seared Snapper (RM 23.50 + 10% Charges)
The Pan Seared Snapper with cauliflower puree and sauteed vegetables, topped up with sesame oil. The fish is fresh and the cauliflower puree is quite rich and tasty, but the food portion size is small for me.

Loin of Lamb Roulade (RM 25% + 10% Charges)
The Loin of Lamb Roulade with jackfruits salsa and balsamic, served with crispy potato. The lamb is medium done and thus the meat is tender and juicy. The lamb is quite delicious with the sweetness of the jackfruits, but some of the potato is over-fried and it is taste bitter. The food portion size is quite small to me.

Coffee Panna Cotta (RM 8 + 10% Charges)
The Coffee Panna Cotta is served with traditional custard sauce. The panna cotta with mild coffee taste is nice, but the texture is actually quite sticky and slightly sweet to me. The food portion size is quite small.

PauPau @ Idealite Wellness Restaurant, Gottlieb Road

Idealite Wholesome Dining Place, a healthy vegetarian restaurant which is located at Gottlieb Road, right beside Waterfall hotel (opposite of Peng Hwa High School). Actually eating vegetarian is good in neutralized the acidic in our body, thus it is very vital for us to have a balancing diet.


As usual Idealite Wholesome Dining Place is always crowded with customers especially during weekend lunch. 


Hakka Lei Cha (RM 13.70 Nett)
The Hakka Lei Cha is consists of steamed brown rice with chick peas, carrots, cabbage, sauteed vegetables, french bean and bean-curd topped up with crispy strips, served with green soup. Their green soup taste great with the balanced ratio in using the herbs and spices, thus the basil flavor is not too strong and it is perfectly good to me. But, the brown rice portion is quite large for me.

Red Curry Ramen (RM 10.70 Nett)
The Red Curry Ramen is consists of ramen with long beans, lettuce, tofu, chilly, mint leaves, served with the hot and spicy red curry soup. The red curry soup is very tasty with the combination taste of spicy and sourish, and the fruity flavor in the red curry is also very appetizing.

Bak Kut Teh Ramen (RM 10.70 Nett)
The Bak Kut Teh Ramen is a ramen with half hard boiled egg, bean-curd, tau pok, variety of mushroom, lettuce and wolfberries, served in herbal soup. This vegetarian Bak Kut Teh has mild herbal flavor with sweetness in their soup.

PauPau @ Nature's Spoon, Bayan Point

Nature's Spoon is a healthy vegetarian restaurant that located at Bayan Point (behind B-Suite Hotel). Overall the environment are quite cozy with the wooden theme dining place.



Burdock Rolls (RM 4 Nett)
The Burdock Rolls is a combinations of shredded burdock, carrot and lettuce, wrap up with a crispy seaweed. This vegetables rolls is quite crunchy and it is likely stir fry jicama, definitely delicious and juicy.

Homemade Belacan Fried Brown Rice (RM 6.90 Nett)
The Homemade Belacan Fried Brown Rice is stir fry with cabbage and mushroom, topped up with lettuce and carrot. The fried brown rice texture are nice, but the homemade belacan has mild fragrant. Since it is a healthy vegetarian restaurant, thus the food will be served in a minimal flavor.

Roselle Brown Rice BeeHun (RM 5.90 Nett)
The Roselle Brown Rice BeeHun is a Roselle soup based brown rice beehun with mushroom, carrot, lettuce and wolfberries. This non-oily roselle soup has strong sourish taste with hint of fruity taste.
