PauPau @ MGI Classic Kitchen, Georgetown

MGI Classic Kitchen is a type of western fusion cafe which is located at Carnavon Street (opposite of Tek Sen). It is quite hard to find a parking during busy hours, however you can park your car in front of the cafe if it is vacant.

The environment is quite cosy.

And there is no service charges or government charges.

This antique phone drew our attention the most while we wandering around, and surprisingly that this antique phone is not just for display, but it is workable. Cool!

The staff even introduced us another collection from the cafe's owner, that is another antique musical instrument.

PauPau @ Dayumm Burger

Burger was once become a hot topic since past few months ago, until it has been replaced by the hottest "Kangkung" lately. So back to the topic, the hottest "KangKung"? (Lol...), of course not! Since the top 10 burger list posted, I'm like wanting burger so much everyday, unless I've been fulfilled. Frankly, it has been few years back I had stall burger as I'm trying to avoid from those processed meat patty.

We are kind of picky eaters, and finally we go for Dayumm Burger as they are using fresh minced pork as their patty and meatballs.

Dayumm Burger, their first branch is located at Khoon Hiang Cafe, Dato Kramat, which is just right beside Perodua Car Center.

I'm not sure if it is because of the "Internet Effect" or there are always have a crowd there waiting for their burger. After placed my order, and I realised that many in the coffee shop is having burger and possible waiting for the burger too.

After waiting for about 25 minutes, finally my supper (meatballs) is served.

Meatballs (6pcs for RM 6 nett or 12pcs for RM 10 nett)
No sauce is added to my meatballs. The meatballs is grilled until golden brown, and it is quite fragrant with hint of herbs. These meatballs are delicious and yet juicy.

The Left:   Meatballs without sauce
The Right: Original meatballs with thousand island and BBQ sauce

Classic Dayumm (RM 6 nett)
The Classic Dayumm is consists of wholemeal raisin bun, vegetables and pork patty with thousand island & BBQ sauce. The wholemeal raisin bun are soft and nice, and the pork patty are same as the meatballs; which has aroma of herbs and juicy.

Wrap & Roll - without sauce (RM 4.50 nett)
The Wrap & Roll is consists of a tortilla wrap with thin layer of egg, pork patty and vegetables. I requested for no additional sauce added to my wrap & roll, and it turns out to be very delicious and salty-less. Even though without any sauce, but the patty itself is quite fragrant with hint of herbs and it is well-marinated.

PauPau @ Post Cafe, Perak Road

It has been some times that Post Cafe moved to Perak Road, just beside of Cha Is Tea Cafe. This is my first time visit to Post Cafe, and it is my family lunch on Christmas day. Glanced through their menu, and found out that they are not only served for western food, but also fusion and local cuisines.

The environment are quite cosy with nice ambiance.

Special Christmas Set Lunch with lemon tea

with Mushroom Soup & Appetiser

Grilled Chicken
The Grilled Chicken is a grilled marinated chicken topped up with ham, served with button mushroom, mashed potato and vegetables.

The grilled chicken is well marinated and fragrant with hints of herbs. The mashed potato are nice, but slightly salty to me. And the ham is the most salty in this dish.

Grilled Butter Fish
The Grilled Butter Fish is a grilled tilapia with batter in creamy butter sauce with almond flakes, served with mushroom, mashed potato and vegetables.

There is two pieces of grilled tilapia, such a good portion of this fish dish. The fish is fresh enough and quite delicious with the creamy sauce too.

PauPau @ Pantai Pasir Panjang, Pulau Betong (Penang Long Beach)

Pantai Pasir Panjang, also known as "Penang Long Beach" the long sandy beach at Pulau Betong, Balik Pulau. Unlike those popular beaches at Batu Ferringhi, Penang Long Beach is a long sandy beach with clear sea-breeze.

Well, I have been tagged with a nickname "Puteri Lilin" (Candle Princess) once as my friends barely see under the hot sun and they even joke that if I would melted. Thus, it is really a huge move for me as even myself also hard to believe that I'm really make it to Penang Long Beach. But, do not get me wrong that I did not go to beach before, as I went to Batu Ferringhi beach before, but it was during night time.

It is our first time to Penang Long Beach, we are driving from Sungai Ara, way along to Balik Pulau. Along this journey, we are passing by "Goat Farms". The Penang Long Beach is just located nearby the Kem Bina Negara Balik Pulau.

We are using the stone staircase to go down to the beach, but do watch your steps as part of the staircase is broken.

First, we are going to spot for a nice shady place as our resting area. And I spotted this shady and sandy area under the tallest tree there.

Well, I am totally in love and very enjoy the luke-warm sandy beach with my bare feet.

A hanging caterpillar at our resting area.

The other side of the beach

The one with the umbrella, that is ME !

This is one of my favorite too.

Writing on the sand with a stick can be another fun activity too.
