PauPau @ Via Pre, Weld Quay

Via Pre is an Italian restaurant which is served for authentic dining experienced at Weld Quay. It is just located at the main road of Weld Quay, opposite of The Chin Restaurant, QE II.

The dining place are quite spacious and cosy. And the interior have the tavern feel and the ambiance is just right.

Delectable foods like bacon, cheese, pastry and cakes that displayed on the counter are capturing my attentions lots while waiting for my meal.

Complimentary from the house
The Complimentary Bread is served with balsamic and olive oil. The bread-sticks are nice and crunchy, while the bread are quite soft too.

Smoked Ocean Trout & Melon (RM 36 +16% Charges)
The Smoked Ocean Trout & Melon is consists of slices of smoked trout and melon cubes, nicely decorated with basil leaves.

This is my first time tasting smoked trout and I was once confusing that is salmon slices, as it has the same orange colour flesh as salmon. But, this is definitely is smoked trout. The smoked trout is quite fresh and juicy, but it is kind of too salty for my taste bud.

PauPau @ Hui Lau Shan, Queensbay Mall

Hui Lau Shan is actually a dessert franchise from Hong Kong, which is establish since 1960 in Hong Kong. Their star ingredient obviously is mango as most of the dessert in the menu are along with mango themes.

Well, mango is also one of my favourite fruits too and the longer I am looking at the menu it is like tempting me to order more. Finally, i have finalized the order list and order 3 types of desserts for sharing.

3 Course Mix & Match (RM 12.90 + 16% charges)
The 3 Course Mix & Match is a choice of three desserts out of nine dessert selections. My selections of Mix & Match is Mango Chewy Balls, Mini Mango Crisp and Mini Peanut Malt Crisp. The Mango Chewy Balls is kind of out of my expectation as the mango puree do not have the mango fragrance and sweetness, even the mango cubes are quite sourish. The Mini Mango Crisp and  Mini Peanut Malt Crisp is quite nice and it is like ice cream crisp.

Mango Romance (RM 12.90 + 16% charges)
The Mango Romance is actually consists of Mango Chewy Balls, Sago Duet and Mango Mochi. The Sago Duet is consists of mango ice cream, sago and mango cubes. This combination is quite tasty, just that the mango cubes not ripe enough. The Mango Mochi are quite chewable and taste good too.

Summer Fusion (RM 11.90 + 16% charges)
The Summer Fusion is actually a bird nest and papaya with coconut milk. This dessert is quite chilling and refreshing too.
