Currently they have two branches at Penang, one is located at Penang Times Square and another one is located at The One.
Simple and bright dining environment.
Traditional Sarawak Noodles (RM 7.50)
The Traditional Sarawak Noodles is a dry type noodles tossed with seasoning, served with minced meat, sliced pork (char siew) sprinkle with spring onion, come along with a bowl of clear soup of two meat balls.
The texture of the kolomee is quite springy and bouncing. The sliced pork is quite lean which is good for me, for the taste wise it may not the best char siew but pass.
Sizzling Black Pepper Pork Chop Pan Mee (RM 9.50)
The Sizzling Black Pepper Pork Chop is consists of pan mee topped up with shredded lettuce, served with three pieces of pork chop and comes with plenty of gravy.
Well, my first thought is that the three little piggy chop is swimming (or drowned) in the sizzling pan. The gravy is kind of starchy watery, and it is lack of flavour. The pan mee texture is fine and soft, however my preferences for noodles is always kolomee.
Genki Herbal Chicken Rice (RM 9.50)
The Genki Herbal Chicken Rice is consists of a big bowl of herbal chicken soup, served with white rice. The herbal soup is quite flavourful with mild sweetness, and the chicken meat is tender.
However, the herbal soup taste is not consistency on our other visit (at earlier time, during lunch hours), and the herbal soup is quite lack of flavoursome.
