PauPau @ Street Art Cafe, China Street (Georgetown)

Street Art Cafe is located at China Street, same row as Kaffa Cafe which is just right opposite of the Kuan Yin temple. It is quite hard to find parking lot during lunch hour here, but luckily finally we found a parking lot, just a few distance walk away from the cafe.

Cake & Desserts Counter
I think the desserts in the jar (cheese cake) is quite interesting and looks tempting. May try it out next round.

Flaming Tuna Spaghetti (RM 13.90 + 6% Charges)
The Flaming Tuna is consists of large portion of spaghetti, served with tuna in spicy bolognese sauce. The spaghetti cooked is soft, not the al-dente type. White for the semi-thick sauce, it has the right combination of sourish and spiciness taste.

Noname Spaghetti (RM 14.90 + 6% Charges)
The Noname Spaghetti (Signature dish) is actually the mixed sauce of alio olio, bolognese and carbonara, served squid, mushroom and ham. I always wanted to try this dish and finally today is the day! Well, the taste is really unique and I feel it is quite special to gather all three dishes in one. The Noname Spaghetti is creamy with mild sourish taste, this dish is very appetizing. Overall, the spaghetti portion is quite big to me.

After the delicious meal, it is action time for us with the funny background art.

Street Art Cafe is also serving for the popular Thailand Fried Ice Cream. They have variety types of flavour ice cream, sauce and topping as extras too. I did not managed to try this fried ice cream as my stomach is already overloaded (bloated). Hope that I can try out their fried ice cream next visit.

PauPau @ Wakaba Japanese Noodles Restaurant, Elit Avenue

Recently Elit Avenue can be considered as a hotspot for lunch and dinner, especially there are variety choices of restaurant and cafe (such as Korean, Japanese, Western, Chinese, Indian cuisine and many more) for the diners to choose. Well, it is quite hard for me to decide sometimes as most of them looks so tempting.

After a few visits to K Food Restaurant, and now we plan to try out Wakaba Japanese Noodles Restaurant which is located at same row as Boiling Steamboat & Dim Sum (滾一滾) and the popular Sushi Mentai Japanese Restaurant (still did not managed to try Sushi Mentai yet, as it is impossible for me to go for the long queue.).

The environment is quite comfortable and the wooden background does provides a strong Japanese sensation in the restaurant.

Pork Fillet Katsu Don (RM 17 + 16% Charges)
The Pork Fillet Katsu Don is served in this nice gift-box alike container. The pork fillet katsu portion is quite generous, it is covered with light batter breaded and bring to fried. We are not really fancy of fried dish, but this pork katsu is quite impressed me as it is not so oily. The most important is that the meat is very tender and juicy. It has light seasoning which is quite suit to my taste bud (Nowadays, I am quite afraid of those dishes which is over marinated ~ too salty, no good to health ya ^^)

Miso Ramen (RM 17 + 16% Charges)
Wakaba Japanese Noodles Restaurant stated that they are speciality in noodle making. Their homemade noodle is using imported flour from Japan, and the noodles are freshly made daily. It sounds like I should try out their homemade noodles right?! But then they have two choices of broth only, that is shoyu and miso broth. You know, the milky pork broth (collagen) is mostly my favourite broth.

Finally I ordered their Miso ramen, "Miso" is actually a fermented soybean with 'Goji' (in Japanese: type of fungus) and some other ingredients. The Miso Ramen is served with pork slices, seaweed, spinach and fish cake. The noodle is quite nice, the texture is soft (not that springy type) but it is not soggy too. The noodle is just in between of springy and mushy. While for the miso soup, the broth is rich too and quite flavoursome.

Free Claimed from their FB offer (FYI: This offer has ended)
I got a free scoop of ice cream (can choose from their menu) by clicked "Like" on their page. And I have choose their homemade Black Sesame Ice Cream. The Black Sesame Ice Cream is sweet and very nice with strong taste of black sesame. However, the black sesame powder is not really spread evenly in the ice cream.

PauPau @ The Cinnamon Restaurant &Tanglung Bar, Hutton Lane (Georgetown)

The Cinnamon Restaurant & Tanglung Bar is a semi fine dining restaurant which is located at Hotel Penaga (a fully refurbished colonial cum heritage building), corner of Hutton Lane. Well, The Cinnamon Restaurant is the only eatery at Hotel Penaga. However, there are no hotel car park, and thus you may park your vehicle along the roadside car park lots.

The restaurant is quite spacious and overall the environment is unique with charming ambiance.

There is a long swimming pool just beside of the restaurant building. Well, it is quite a nice view from inside the restaurant, where you can enjoy your meal with the sky blue pool (extra bonus if there are sexy girl or macho man swimming in the pool... Lol.).

Well, I am using the Groupon deal for today 3 course set lunch at RM 38 for two persons. The 3 course set lunch is included a appetiser, main course and dessert (which is free flow of ice cream). Meanwhile, you can add on a free flow of iced lemon tea at RM 4.50 per person.

For the appetiser, you can actually choose from Crispy Calamari, Forest Mushroom Soup or Baby Romaine Caesar's Salad.

Crispy Calamari
The Crispy Calamari is served with tartar sauce and baby romaine lettuce. I did not try it as it is quite rare for me to eat deep fried food, well, only once in the blue moon. Feedback from the diner, that it is crispy and not so oily as a deep fried food.

Baby Romaine Caesar's Salad
The Baby Romaine Caesar's Salad is served with crispy bacon, cherry tomato and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and crouton. Well, actually nothing much to describe it, however the greens are fresh and it is just good to eat with parmesan cheese.

Forest Mushroom Soup
The Forest Mushroom Soup is added with truffle oil and served with crouton. I have heard about "Truffle", but I did not try it in any dish before until today (although it's truffle oil, still not so bad huh.). Just in case you do not know, French categorized "Truffle" as the diamond in the kitchen and it is quite costly too.

The forest mushroom soup is very aromatic and taste good with the minced mushroom. It is very thick, creamy and rich in fungi taste.

BBQ Chicken Thigh
The BBQ Chicken Thigh is served with mashed potato, sautéed vegetables and brown sauce. The grilled chicken is taste good with mild flavourful (which is quite suit our taste bud) and the meat is tender and juicy.

Spaghetti Carbonara
The Spaghetti Carbonara is served with crispy beef bacon and parmesan cheese. The spaghetti is cooked al-dente and the carbonara sauce is very creamy and cheesy. I love the carbonara sauce lots, it is just so rich and delicious. It would be better if there is extras carbonara sauce.

Traditional English Fish and Chip
The Traditional English Fish and Chip is served with lemon wedges, salad and tartar sauce.(FYI:  They are using tilapia fish for the fish and chip.)

After the meal, there are free flow of ice cream at their counter. They have few choices of ice cream and there are topping and syrup for you to add on to your ice cream too.
